Lori Morrison earned her Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) designation in 2002. It is the first nationally recognized accreditation for dog trainers. She passed an extensive exam to become one of the first 500 trainers in the nation to earn the title.
Lori also received a Certificate in Training and Counseling (CTC), with honors, from the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers in 2001. The Academy, known as the “Harvard for Dog Trainers” provided comprehensive, leading education in learning, motivation, behavior problems, obedience progressions, class structure and more. In addition, Lori returned to the Academy to earn a Certificate in Counseling for Fear and Aggression.
Lori is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), the Pet Professionals Guild, the Pet Dog Ambassador program and is committed to continuing education on all things canine.
Bailie is an Ellensburg native who is truly ‘dog crazy’. She grew up with dogs and started volunteering at veterinary offices before she was 10 years old. She now lives with 3 wonderful dogs who take turns coming to work with her. Bailie has a special gift – she’s a natural with dogs and terrific with their humans too! In addition to Kennel Manager duties, Bailie teaches training classes and has recently become a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) after passing a rigorous national exam.
Gabz is from the Olympia area and has been attending CWU majoring in Spanish. She’s been a pet sitter and dog walker for several years. She recently welcomed her new pup, Torbjorn into her family.
Stephanie is an Ellensburg native who grew up surrounded by family dogs. She has a passion for all animals and as a recent graduate from CWU, plans to continue her career working closely with pets and wildlife. Stephanie currently lives with her chocolate lab, Peaches, her shih tzu/chihuahua, Brody, and two rabbits, Effy and Oliver. When she isn’t spending time with her pets, Stephanie enjoys sewing dresses and bags, and drawing.
Hailey is a recent graduate of CWU with a BA in History. When she's not at work, she spends time hiking, gardening, studying Celtic culture and enjoying time with her boyfriend, three dogs, Mack, Mazey and Ellie, and two cats, Rusty and Sargeant Tibbs.
Katelynn is a senior at Ellensburg High, graduating this year (congrats!). She loves spending time with friends, hiking in our beautiful area, and hanging out with her dog Ember.
