Common Questions
My dog isn’t good with other dogs, can he still attend daycare and boarding?

Sorry, no. Our focus is on social groups for dogs, so we are not accepting dogs who do not get along with unfamiliar dogs.

My dog gets along with some dogs but can be too much for others. Can he participate in group play?

Possibly. We set up our play groups based on size, energy and playstyle. Dogs must fit easily into one of the playgroup types.

I have a small dog/puppy. Can she come to daycare?

Yes! For safety, we don’t let small dogs or young puppies out with big dogs. We have a day reserved just for small dogs and puppies and they have lots of fun hanging out together.

What vaccinations does my dog need?

Dogs must be current on their Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccination, or have an update given at least a week prior to boarding. Rabies vaccinations are required by law. Vaccinations for parvo, distemper, giardia etc., must be current according to the protocol you and your vet agree upon.

My dog isn’t spayed or neutered, can he still come to stay?

All dogs must be spayed or neutered by the time they’re 9 months old. We cannot accept females in heat.

Can I bring or pick up dog outside your regular hours?

To minimize interruptions and permit our staff to focus on the dogs in our care, we ask that you respect our scheduled arrival and departure hours.  Arrangements can be made for arrivals and departures outside our scheduled hours during the day, for an additional fee.  No arrivals or departures after our evening closing time.

My dog has never been confined. Where will she sleep?

All boarders sleep in our heated and air-conditioned bunkhouse. We use appropriately sized, individual wire crates, or 4×6 or 6×6 kennels. All dogs must be crate trained, and able to remain calm and quiet when confined.

I have a young puppy, can I board her?

We love puppies and are happy to have them stay with us, provided they have finished their complete series of puppy vaccinations, including Rabies and Bordetella, at least a week prior to their stay with us, and are at least 4 months old.

My dog needs daily medications, can you give them?

We are happy to administer oral medication for your dog. Please bring the medications clearly labeled with the required dosage, and any item (cheese, pill pockets) that you use to hide the medications in. There will be an additional fee if we are required to purchase food items to administer the medication. Please note: We cannot board dogs who require injectable medication.

My dog jumps fences, will he be secure at your facility?

No, sorry. While our main play yards have 6-foot chain link fencing, and all dogs are supervised when outside, for the safety of the dogs in our care, we cannot accommodate dogs who are known fence jumpers or escape artists.
